Activities and sports available near our rural gay holiday guest house in Andalucia and the Costa del Sol, Spain.

The many Natural Parks/Nature Reserves in the Axarquia region are best explored by hiking and mountain biking (see the separate pages on these activities). But in addition to these activities, you can:

play golf at the huge number of golf courses on the Costa del Sol and at Antequera go sea kayaking, snorkelling or scuba diving in the Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo marine reserve explore the famous caves at Nerja. Or go for a guided tour of the rare marine cave at Rincon de la Victoria see the flamingoes at Fuente de Piedra (January-August only). This is one of only two lakes in Europe where the Greater Flamingoes breed (the other is in France). Upto 16,000 pairs of flamingoes gather here 20km west of Antequera go to one of the three local waterparks (water slides, etc.) at Torremolinos, Mijas or Torre del Mar go to the Selwo amusement park, Tivoli Gardens amusement park, the Selwo sealife centre or take the cable car to the top of the hills behind the Costa del Sol

see 4 varieties of wolves at the nearby 'Wolf Park' - they also offer horse rides here take a boat trip from Torre del Mar to see the dolphins go paragliding in the Valle de Abdalajis or at La Herradura go rock climbing at El Chorro gorge try Go-Karting at Torre del Mar go Quad biking in the hills take a boat trip from Malaga to the Spanish territory of Melilla on the African coast watch the local birdlife - in season, we see bee-eaters, golden orioles, hoopoe, goldfinch, greenfinch, great spotted woodpeckers. kestrels, griffon vultures, woodchat shrikes, and many more or simply relax by our wonderful clothing-optional pool or on one of the many nearby beaches, nude or otherwise!
